Last Saturday Woolooware sent 24 representatives to play Cronulla in the long standing John Dwyer Shield. Despite the weather forecast we were treated to great conditions, blue skies and a perfectly manicured course. The home team always holds the advantage and true to form, we went down by a rather large 100 Stableford points.

Woolooware Golf Club had 24 players compete against Cronulla in the annual John Dwyer Shield last Saturday. The weather turned out to be fantastic with clear blue skies and a well-maintained course, providing the perfect setting for the match. Despite the home team advantage, Woolooware unfortunately lost by a significant 100 Stableford points.

A special shoutout goes to Jake Henderson, who achieved the best score for Woolooware on the day with 33 points (on a count back). Despite the tough competition, all the players had a wonderful time and would like to express their gratitude to Cronulla Golf Club for their warm hospitality and good sportsmanship. It was a great day of golf with friendly competition and camaraderie.
