Congratulations to Trish Huthwaite on taking out the Women’s Captains Trophy with a fantastic score of 68 (23). It was a brilliant result on the day and thoroughly deserved.

First awarded in 1999, the Women’s Captains Trophy is a special event in the club calendar – one that recognises not only the competition winner but also the outstanding contributions of our current and past Women’s Captains. This year provided a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge the dedication and hard work these women have given to Woolooware Golf Club (Ladies) over the decades.

• Carolyn Sorenson – 1999 to 2001
• Liane Nowak – 2010 to 2015
• Susan Bourne – 2016 to 2019
• Belinda Hammond – 2020 to 2024
• Lynette Goodwin – 2025 to present

It is a testament to the spirit of this club that so many past leaders continue to be actively involved. Their ongoing commitment helps shape the culture and community that makes Woolooware Golf Club (Ladies) such a great place to play.
