Congratulations to all who played in The Woolooware Cup and Salver today. It was hard going for many but the winners came in with excellent scores. Winner of the Cup was Charlotte Perkins from The Australian with scratch score 75. Her sister Sophia also from The Australian was runner up with 76. The Salver winner was our own Trish Huthwaite with an amazing nett score of 71 closely followed by runner up Sue Tafener with 72c/b. Last Saturday Woolooware sent 24 representatives to play Cronulla in the long standing John Dwyer Shield. Despite the weather forecast we were treated to great conditions, blue skies and a perfectly manicured course. The home team always holds the advantage and true to form, we went down by a rather large 100 Stableford points.
