Annual tradition at Woolooware Golf Club (ladies), the Captain’s vs Presidents golf event, saw an exciting showdown this year. Since 2011, the Captain’s team has dominated with 9 wins against the Presidents’ 4. However, this year marked a turning point as the Presidents secured their 5th win with a score of 857-819, making it a memorable victory.

Top Performers

In a closely contested battle, the President’s team emerged victorious with Patricia Phelps & Dianne Cawston leading the pack with an impressive 46 points. Trish Barrett & Jane Borland followed closely as runners-up with 45 points. On the Captain’s side, Val Doratis & Annette Jarman clinched the top spot with 45 points, while Robyn Maxted & Dympna Duffy secured the runners-up position with 43 cb.

Women’s AGM Highlights

Following the exhilarating golf event, the 68th Women’s AGM witnessed a great turnout of members at Woolooware Golf Club (ladies). The committee introduced just 2 role changes, appointing Margi Collins as the new Vice Captain and Leonie Stannard as the Secretary, ensuring smooth operations for the upcoming year.

Congratulations to President Lynne Willis, Captain Lynette Goodwin, and the entire committee for their dedication in welcoming new members and providing valuable updates throughout the year.
