Our Silver Pennant team achieved a fantastic victory at The Coast in their latest game. The girls faced off against the strong Oak Point team after their impressive win against Cronulla in the previous game. Woolooware secured a 3/2 victory, marking their second consecutive win in the competition.
The course conditions at The Coast featured soggy fairways and fast greens, but fortunately, there was minimal wind to disrupt play. Despite the occasional shower, the team was able to navigate the conditions with their rain gear at the ready. After the game, the team enjoyed a meal together, sharing fries, pizza, and salad as a celebration of their success.
Congratulations are in order for the skilled team members who contributed to this victory: Margi Collins F/C, Leanne Fuller, Jodi Miller, Kerin Morgan, and Lynette Goodwin. Their collective effort and talent on the course were truly commendable, showcasing their dedication and teamwork.

Congratulations to all who played in The Woolooware Cup and Salver today. It was hard going for many but the winners came in with excellent scores. Winner of the Cup was Charlotte Perkins from The Australian with scratch score 75. Her sister Sophia also from The Australian was runner up with 76. The Salver winner was our own Trish Huthwaite with an amazing nett score of 71 closely followed by runner up Sue Tafener with 72c/b. It was great to see so many visitors from other clubs also compete in the event. Thank you Fine Print for sponsoring the The Woolooware Cup and Salver again this year. #wp
