Our Bronze 1 Pennant team played their first game of the season today at Cronulla.

The Woolooware Bronze 1 Pennant team had a strong start to their season, playing against Lakeside at Cronulla. Karen Parker, Di Barakat, Geraldine Earl, Louise Shaw, and Janeen Dargaville showed excellent skills and managed to square with Lakeside. A special mention to Karen and Di for their first Pennant game participation.

On the other hand, the Grade Pennant team of Sue Sutherland, Lynne Willis, Moira Frazer, Barb Foy, and Robyn Maxted faced a tough competition from Penrith at Moore Park, ending in a 4.5/0.5 score. Lynne’s remarkable performance saw her narrowing a 4-hole deficit after 9 holes to just a putt away from a square on the 18th hole.

The ladies from Woolooware showcased great friendliness and sportsmanship in their games, always representing their team with pride. A big thank you goes out to the grade caddies Belinda Hammond, Julie Morris, Lynette Goodwin, Tracey Arnold, and Maryanne Thompson for their invaluable support to the team.
