The Woolooware members and parents were delighted to see the Junior Order of Merit Winners and Cadet Champions presented with their prizes at the club on Sunday. This event was Sponsored by the Woolooware Women golfers.

The Woolooware Golf Club recently hosted an event to celebrate the Junior Order of Merit Winners and Cadet Champions, sponsored by the Woolooware Women Golfers. It was a joyous occasion for members and parents as they gathered to honor the young players for their dedication, behavior, and sportsmanship throughout the year. The coaching and opportunities provided by Adam Short and Barry Bent were instrumental in the success of these juniors.

Cormac Boyce emerged as the Cadet Championship Winner with a total gross score of 168 after 2 rounds, followed closely by Stephen Moraitis with a score of 181. Ryan Yan claimed the Nett Winner title, showcasing his skills playing off a handicap of 23.

During the event, the 2024 Order of Merit was also presented, with Stephen Moraitis clinching the top spot with a cumulative total of 104 points from over 20 events. The top 5 in the Order of Merit standings were as follows: 1st Stephen Moraitis (104), 2nd Cormac Boyce (97), 3rd Mason Copas (94.5), 4th Tyler Reinking (80), and 5th Ryan Yan (79.5).

It was a day filled with celebrations and recognition for the promising young golfers at Woolooware Golf Club. Congratulations to all the winners and participants for their outstanding achievements on the course.
