The Men’s Club Championships concluded recently with the final round played in excellent conditions. The deserving winners in their respective categories dominated over four rounds of stroke play. Jake Hallinan clinched the Club Champion title for the third consecutive year with a final round score of 70. Kurt Rugless secured the second spot with 74, followed by Trent Vella with his best round of 73.
In A Reserve Grade, Trent Smith maintained his lead throughout the tournament to claim the victory over Tim Norris. B Grade saw Damien Counsel emerge as the winner, dominating from the beginning. Damien also secured the Southern Cross Cup for the best overall Nett Score. Mark Spencer showcased a great battle with Charlie Doyle to capture the C Grade title.
Mitch Rugless was crowned the Seniors Champion, while Robbie Lancaster emerged as the Junior Champion.
