
The 2024 Women’s Championships came to an exciting close with the third and final round crowning our champions. Deb Timmins secured the top spot with an impressive round of 82, finishing with a total of 263 and a 4-shot lead over Dinah Moran who scored 267. In Division 2, Diane Barakat claimed the championship with a score of 304, narrowly surpassing last year’s winner, Sue Tafener, who finished at 307. Vicki Smith triumphed in Division 3 with a score of 326, just 2 shots ahead of Christine Morson at 328. Division 4 saw Patricia Suttor emerge as the champion with a score of 344, bringing home a tight victory over Alison Julian at 347.
The winners in the 54-hole nett category were Lynnette Goodwin in Division 1, Cathie McKenzie in Division 2, Chris Morson in Division 3, and Patricia Suttor in Division 4. A special thanks to Rennie Brothers for their ongoing support and sponsorship of our Women’s Championships.
