Exciting Movement on the Leaderboard
Round 2 of the Women’s Club Championships delivered plenty of drama at Woolooware Golf Club. Lynette Goodwin made a remarkable jump in the leaderboard by shooting the best nett round of the day with a score of 67, propelling her 7 places up the standings.
Meanwhile, Dinah Moran and Sue Sutherland showcased their skills by posting the low scratch rounds of the day – 85 and 84 respectively – earning them 1st and 2nd overall positions. Their consistent ball-striking and course management set them apart in Round 2.
New Leaders Emerge Across All Grades
With all grades experiencing shifts in leadership, the competition is heating up. New frontrunners have emerged in each division, as shown on the leaderboards for Divisions 1, 2, 3, and 4. The close competition within the top 6 positions across all grades means the championship title is still anyone’s to claim.
The tightly contested nature of this year’s Women’s Club Championships sets up an intriguing battle for the following rounds. Congratulations to all participants on their performances, and best of luck next week!
