Impressive Victory for 15-Year-Old
Congratulations to young Woolooware Golf Club member Jackson Smith, who has claimed victory in the 2026 Woolooware Cup with an outstanding performance. The 15-year-old shot an impressive 72 to take out the title, narrowly edging out a competitive field of five players who finished on 73.
Jackson’s achievement is remarkable for someone his age, demonstrating exceptional skill and composure under pressure. To win such a prestigious club competition at just 15 years old shows tremendous promise for his golfing future.
A Special Family Moment
What made the victory even more meaningful was that Jackson competed alongside his dad, Clint. Sharing the course with family during such a significant achievement added an extra layer of joy to an already memorable day. It’s these moments that make club golf so special – when competition meets family tradition.
The atmosphere throughout the Woolooware Cup was fantastic, with our staff members Carlos and Jimmy capturing some brilliant action shots during the event. The photographs showcase the quality of play and the spirit of the competition that makes this annual tournament a highlight on our club calendar.
Well done to Jackson on this incredible achievement, and congratulations to all players who competed in the 2026 Woolooware Cup. We’re proud to have such talented members representing Woolooware Golf Club.
