Annual BevWool Shield: Team Woolooware Competes at Beverly Park

Team Woolooware recently participated in the annual BevWool Shield at Beverly Park, showcasing the strong local knowledge of our mixed pairs. Despite a valiant effort, our team narrowly missed out with a final score of 783-682 in favor of Beverly Park.

We extend special thanks to our club vice-captain, Trish Huthwaite, for her exceptional organizational efforts. Congratulations to Beverley Park representatives Simone Golik, Robyn, and Peter Morrison for graciously accepting the Shield.

Although the competition resulted in a loss for Team Woolooware, the day unfolded in perfect weather conditions, fostering a wonderful atmosphere of sportsmanship and team spirit. Both teams displayed great camaraderie throughout the event, showcasing the true essence of golfing community.
