Last Saturday Woolooware sent 24 representatives to play Cronulla in the long standing John Dwyer Shield. Despite the weather forecast we were treated to great conditions, blue skies and a perfectly manicured course. The home team always holds the advantage and true to form, we went down by a rather large 100 Stableford points. Woolooware Golf Club sent 24 players to compete against Cronulla in the annual John Dwyer Shield. The weather turned out to be perfect with blue skies and a well-maintained course setting the stage for a competitive match. Despite the home team advantage, Woolooware unfortunately fell short by 100 Stableford points. However, the players still had a fantastic time and appreciated the warm hospitality extended by Cronulla Golf Club.
