Our Men’s and Women’s Pennant teams have had a successful start to the 2025 campaign. The Grade team achieved a 3/2 victory at their HOME course against Moore Park, showcasing their skills and determination. The team, comprised of Deb Timmins, Sue Sutherland, Lynne Willis, Moira Frazer, and Barb Foy, put on a competitive performance. The course was in fantastic condition, thanks to the efforts of the club and committee, who also provided a warm welcome and a delicious lunch for the players.
The match was a close one, with two players securing wins and two narrowly missing out in the final holes. The tension built up towards the end, but the team remained focused and pulled off a well-deserved win. An impressive comeback was observed from Sue Sutherland, who managed to turn the game around from being 3 down after 13 holes to eventually winning 2 up on the 18th hole. Kudos to all the team members and their supportive caddies for their hard work and dedication on the course.
