Woolooware Golf Club Defeats Sharks Men’s Social Club

Annual Golf Showdown

Yesterday morning saw the playing of our annual Woolooware Golf Club vs Sharks Men’s Social Club event. Teeing off nice and early, our WGC members had a great day out on the course, taking home the trophy with a commanding score of 798 to 709.

The victory was particularly sweet as it restored order after last year’s loss to the Sharks. Our members brought their A-game and showed excellent form throughout the day, demonstrating the quality and skill that makes Woolooware Golf Club such a competitive venue.

Outstanding Performance

Rodd McKirdy was best on ground with a fantastic 41 points, leading the charge for our team. His exceptional play set the tone for the day and inspired strong performances across the board. It was a masterclass in consistency and skill under pressure.

The early tee-off meant players faced challenging conditions as the day heated up, but everyone stayed hydrated and maintained their focus. Thanks to all involved for their professionalism and sportsmanship in what turned out to be quite a warm day on the course.

Great Community Spirit

This annual event continues to be a highlight on our calendar, bringing together members from both clubs for friendly competition and camaraderie. The atmosphere was fantastic throughout the day, with both teams enjoying the challenge and the social aspect of the event.
