The Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Golf Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy golf facility. Reporting to the Director of Golf, this hands-on leadership role requires excellent organisational skills, a focus on customer service, and the ability to manage both people and systems effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Pro Shop, competitions, and tee-time bookings.
- Supervise, train, and develop Pro Shop staff to ensure excellent service standards.
- Oversee cart fleet operations, including bookings, maintenance, and Visage GPS system management.
- Coordinate stock control, ordering, and quarterly stocktakes.
- Support competition management, course marshalling, and customer enquiries.
- Maintain strong relationships with members, guests, and visiting social groups.
- Work closely with the Director of Golf to deliver operational improvements and enhance the overall golfing experience.
About You
- Previous experience in golf operations, retail, hospitality, or club management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Organised, reliable, and detail-focused.
- Confident using the MiClub booking system and point-of-sale systems (training available if required).
- A passion for golf and knowledge of the game will be highly regarded.
- The successful candidate must be available to work weekends, with hours rostered across Saturday and/or Sunday.
