Course Closure Due to Extreme Heat

Due to extreme heat and as part of our duty of care, Woolooware Golf Club will close today, Saturday 10 January, at 1:00pm. Player safety is our absolute priority, and these measures must be applied consistently to all players.

As a result, today’s competition will be abandoned after 9:00am, with only the SMGC vs WGC event proceeding. No social play will be permitted, and no tee times will be available after 9:00am.

We understand this may be disappointing for those who had planned to play today. However, golfer safety comes first, especially during periods of extreme weather. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
