Course Record Broken After 18 Years

Congratulations to Jake, who has etched his name into Woolooware Golf Club history by breaking a long-standing course record. Carding an impressive 8 birdies for a 6 under par 64, Jake surpassed the previous record held by Dax for over 18 years, which stood at 3 under par.

It’s a remarkable achievement and a testament to the quality of golf Jake brought on the day. Eight birdies in a single round is no small feat, and to do it in tournament conditions off the Black Tees makes it all the more impressive.

Special Mention to Dave James

Adding an extra layer of drama to the day, Dave James also managed to break the long-standing record – unfortunately arriving at the finish line 90 minutes too late. Dave’s round was equally remarkable, but with Jake having already set the new benchmark earlier in the day, Dave’s effort could not claim the title.

To break the course record at Woolooware Golf Club (Pro Shop), a Stroke round must be played off the Black Tees in Tournament conditions – making both performances on the day truly special.
