PGA Professional

BARRY BENT

Barry has been head professional and coach at Woolooware golf course for the past 40 years. In 2022 Barry was recognised by Sports NSW and NSW Golf and received a distinguished long service award. NSW PGA 1999 Teacher of the Year and Top 50 Australian Teachers 1999-2003. He coached European, and Australasia Tour Player Lucas Parsons; winner of 2000 Greg Norman Holden Classic, Australian Amateur Champion and World cup representative. Coached Matthew Giles; World Junior Champion in 2005, US College Player for the USC Trojans and Winner of 2013 Victorian Open. Other past students include, Carlie Butler (LPGA Tour player), Aaron Price (US Colleage player), Ewan Porter (Australasian Tour player) and Sarah Kemp (Ladies Tour player)
Lessons available Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7:30AM-11:30AM

ADAM SHORT

Adam has been in charge of our junior program for the past six years. Since taking over the popularity of his Schweppes program has flourished. As well as having a great rapport with children he has a clear and intuitive understanding of the learning process. Adam has been a PGA member for 29 years competing successfully and gaining international coaching experience in that time.
