
On Tuesday, the Women’s Club Championships kicked off alongside the Gold Medal playoff at Woolooware Golf Club. Despite challenging conditions due to early rain, members showed their skills and determination on the course.
The Gold Medal winner of the day was Trish Huthwaite, who was pleasantly surprised to find herself in contention after a stellar performance that landed her a medal in the playoff for the 4th NSW medal. Trish, along with Robyn Maxted and Karen Parker, all scored 79 nett, leading to a playoff from the 1st hole to determine the gold medalist. In an exciting turn of events, Trish emerged victorious on the first hole, securing the gold medal with her impressive performance.
